A practical guide for Enshrouded mod authors

Shroudtopia SDK

Build native mods with Shroudtopia’s lifecycle, configuration, logging, discovery, and low-level memory tools. Learn what the API can do, where its limits are, and how to test your own compatibility.

What Shroudtopia is

Shroudtopia is a native modding framework. It discovers and loads compatible mod DLLs, passes each mod a shared context, reads per-mod settings, and calls lifecycle methods. It does not add a single gameplay feature by itself.

This site documents the current Shroudtopia API and maintained fork. Shroudweave is Nick’s flavor name for the compatibility work and features added to this fork. Use Shroudtopia as the primary framework name; use Shroudweave when referring to those maintained additions.

Think framework, not feature pack. Your DLL supplies the gameplay behavior. Shroudtopia supplies discovery, metadata, configuration, logging, lifecycle calls, and native helper functions.

Shroudtopia exposes native C++/Windows facilities. It does not offer a broad, stable game-object API. Many mods inspect or patch Enshrouded process memory, so each game-specific feature needs its own version checks, safe failure path, and real testing.
